EXECUTE
AFRICA
AI CHALLENGE
Execute Africa AI Challenge brings Africa's most ambitious builders together to turn real AI solutions into real businesses, with funding and mentorship that carry on long after the demo ends.
Africa doesn't need more prototypes. It needs businesses.
The Execute Africa AI Challenge is looking ambitious teams with bold ideas to solve real African challenges using Artificial Intelligence.
You do not need a finished product to apply. We’re looking for teams with a strong understanding of a real problem, an innovative idea, and the commitment to build and test a solution during the hackathon.
Selected teams will spend two days building alongside experienced mentors before five finalist teams pitch live at the One Vecta Africa AI Week Closing Ceremony. The winning team will receive a cash prize for execution and a year of mentorship to help turn their idea into a sustainable venture.

- The Journey
Two days to refine, validate and prepare for the showcase.
Working alongside experienced mentors, founders and AI experts, teams will sharpen their solutions and stress-test their business models before presenting live during the closing ceremony of One Vecta Africa AI Week, in front of investors, business leaders, policymakers and ecosystem partners. This is more than a pitch. It’s the moment your solution moves from concept to company.
- The Journey
Four stages, one build pipeline from idea to launched venture.
- What's at Stake
Unlike traditional hackathons, this funding rewards execution, not just ideas. Part of the grand prize is awarded at the closing ceremony, with the rest released once the venture launches and shows real traction.

- Why It Matters
Africa's future won't be built by ideas alone. It will be built by founders who execute.
Success isn’t measured by what happens on Demo Day. It’s measured by what your business is achieving one year later.
