Angela Akua Asante (aka“Triple A”) is a Strategic Communications Advisor and a certified Design Thinking Strategist with nearly 20 years of experience in the multimedia industry.
She has ideated, executed, and managed PR campaigns and/or content strategies for world-class clients such as Google, Spotify, Johnson & Johnson, impact investment giants Norsad Capital,
pan-African venture builder Founders Factory Africa, and Switzerland’s multi-million dollar crypto staking provider Chorus One.
She has scripted, voiced, and produced documentaries and TV series for the European Union and the Embassy of France in Ghana. Angela’s professional background includes spells at the BBC World Service’s BBC Afrique branch as its Ghana-based French-language correspondent (2013-2018), at the Ghana Tourism Chamber as Chief Operating Officer (2020), and at Ghana’s French Embassy as Press Attaché, Supervising Producer, and Mediator (2021).
Formerly in football journalism (2008-2020), Triple A covered four FIFA World Cup tournaments across men’s, women’s and youth football as a solo reporter. Her eventful career has seen her move with cameras and microphones for a decade as an international sports journalist, emcee, or speaker (2012-2022) in Azerbaijan, Canada, Ethiopia, France, Kenya, Russia, Spain, and Uganda.
Angela currently lives a happy life in her home country, Ghana. As African Media Agency’s Ghana-based Strategic Communications Advisor and Ghana Country Lead, she continues to work closely with major global brands and with the media in Ghana and across the continent.
